Aroma Essences Handcrafted Doggie Soap
If you have a dog that has skin issues, this soap does a great job on their skin and the dogās fur. Itās so much better than anything that youāre going to find on the shelves at the grocery stores. Our soaps are SLS, SLES and Palm FREE. We chose natural ingredients such as goats milk, oatmeal, and dog friendly essential oils to give your pooch the very best of care.
Goat's Milk Soap For Dogs
Goatās milk uses the fatty acids in soap and turns them into a moisturizer which provide a creamy and soft feel and helps with hydration. When commercial soaps remove these fatty acids, they also get rid of the glycerin which creates that dryness in the skin because there is no moisture lock.
Goat's milk soap is an amazing moisturizer for dogs with dry, itchy skin and are less likely to lick at themselves. If they have an open wound, goat's milk soap helps prevent infection and inflammation, which can help the dogās skin heal more quickly.
So we know that goats' milk contains alpha-hydroxy acids is very nourishing for skin. Dogs' skin pH is 6.8; goat milk pH is 6.4-6.7 making it a perfect compliment for animals. It will soften your dogs' skin and nourish their coat while helping to repel pests. It also rinses off much easier than most dog shampoos.
Oatmeal For Dogs
Oatmeal has anti-inflammatory and protectant properties that help to soothe irritation and itchiness, while also forming a protective barrier that locks moisture in to prevent dryness.Ā
